Thoughts

Dear Mum, On the oldest Burrows headstone in Bardwell churchyard , our three times great grandparents, it says: With Christ which is far better and Children mourn, Heaven Rejoices. You had those words put on your own parents' headstone in Bardwell churchyard and I think it would be nice for us to put them on your plaque when the time comes before too long. I will pass the idea on to all. Dear Mum, you are in the arms of God now, the Creator. I still can't really believe you're gone away from us. You were always so young at heart and you weren't ever old. I'm so sorry for what happened to you and I wished I could have done more for you. You sacrificed your whole life for your family and it wasn't easy walking your earthly life. But God has always loved you and you had a profound faith in God as the totality of everything whether we know it or not and from that perspective it doesn't matter what we humans might say. You hated all the wars caused by religion and dogmatism and hypocracy and you were misunderstood for holding your views. But it isn't for us to judge, only to love and forgive, Lord help us in our weakness. So dear Mum, I believe the angels of the heavenly host came for you that day, and God the Holy Spirit, the Comforter came for you. I know that from the profound peacefulness which was around here as I took a walk that afternoon and there was a difference which was inexplicable. And then later I knew, but my faith had been weak. I pray that you are under the everlasting arms. God bless you. And I thank you, thank you, thank you, love you forever, till we meet again in glory, xxxx love from Kathryn
